Importance of supervision

Since qualifying I have had regular supervision, and it has enabled me to learn, to build confidence and to overcome the isolation you quite often feel when you go from working in an office environment to working on one's own in a clinic

Now as part of the government's regulations on complimentary health, the associations are being more vigorous on supervision and to be able to upgrade your status from licentiate to registered for example you have to have a set number of supervision hours.

Supervision is in groups in Reading, Berks, or on a one-to-one basis, over the telephone and over skype.

SFS is about collaborating with and helping develop a supervisee’s talents, so it’s a model that can work well with other modalities.

I will also use each session to update supervisees on changes to our knowledge base, updates in understanding and techniques, and because of my background in marketing and advertising, I shall also be talking about how to market your business.

Group or one to one sessions are currently being held at Church House - 59 Church St, Caversham, Reading RG4 8AX.From 10am - 12 noon.
